Accessibility Statement

MBOS is committed to building a learning environment that is calm, usable, and inclusive for as many people as possible. Accessibility is part of our product quality, not an afterthought.

Our approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and apply practical improvements that meaningfully reduce barriers. We focus on real usability: readable content, clear structure, keyboard access, and compatibility with assistive technologies.

What we’re doing

  • Ongoing scanning during publishing: We use an accessibility auditing tool inside WordPress to flag issues as we create and update pages.
  • Theme-level improvements: Where helpful, we enable lightweight accessibility enhancements (for example, skip-to-content support and cleaner link markup).
  • Keyboard and screen reader checks: We routinely test core flows (login, account, checkout, portal navigation) with keyboard-only navigation and common assistive technology patterns.
  • Content standards: We work to maintain logical headings, descriptive links, adequate color contrast, and meaningful alternative text for images.

What we avoid

We do not rely on “one-click compliance” overlays as a substitute for remediation. If something is hard to use, we aim to fix the source.

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some areas may still be improving, including:

  • Third-party embedded tools or media players that may have accessibility constraints outside our direct control.
  • Older PDFs or downloadable resources that may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
  • Video captions/transcripts for legacy content (we prioritize core curriculum first).

Response time

We try to respond within a reasonable timeframe and will prioritize issues that block learning, enrollment, account access, or core navigation.
